Next Morning The Hospital

Here I am so Nervous I fall getting into the transport van(yep I’m clumsy)

Oh my God I am really doing this

We Sign lots of papers(most of it is not in English-learned that it is a liability if it were in English)

I Got undressed got my gown and socks on

I got an IV, met the doctors and Dr. Z came and asked if I had any questions– so what did I ask, “What did you have for breakfast?” Omg Shawna what are you thinking. I remember sliding from 1 gurney to another and that’s IT I wake up in recovery–asking for my phone so I can call my hubs and let him know All is well.

Now all I can say as to Pain its clearly the next best thing to an actual stomach stabbing- I dont even know how to describe it. Its everything all in 1. And then I get up out of the chair to go walk and you look down and see blood everywhere. I think I aged a lil in those next few seconds- luckily it wasnt major it was just a mess. I got up and walked until I was just tired. I came from GA so theres a little bit of a jet lag.

***The next day–oh dear lord it hurts and the nausea and the IV meds work wonders—until my Veins fo kaput. However the young doctor there showed compassion and finally came up with a medicine plan that worked. I went from like 10am-6pm just trying meds to see if they worked. I was a sick puppy. But that young Doctor made it all go away. Dr. Z if he isnt on your staff he should be. He was so helpful and caring. You might want to Poach him ;).

**Today I woke up feeling tender and sore but I feel great. I got to rest up. I was told 10am was time we were leaving to go back to hotel. We had just got our juices and this is the part I didnt like. Was told 10am. At 9:05, it felt like I was being ejected and fast. They couldn’t get me out of there any faster. Its covid season and a lady was just touching all my stuff to get me out of that room.(not a complaint on woman I just dont like folks messing with my things especially with an epidemic going on) we were rushed out but had to wait a bit in lobby for transport
