ABOUT US AND OUR MISSION
Go Light Bariatrics was founded in 2014 with a goal to provide smooth and well-organized coordinating and facilitating services for weight loss surgery, as well as connect patients with excellent medical professionals. We understand that our patients need affordable medical care, as many times this type of surgery is not covered by their medical insurance. Yet, lower surgery cost in Mexico does not mean that the level of care, medical experience, and professionalism is in any way less than in their home countries. We absolutely love helping our patients go through their journeys, answering numerous questions, and sharing their fears and joy. Being part of such a life-changing experience makes our work very fulfilling. We have been truly blessed with a great medical team, professional, talented, experienced, and an excellent facilitating team, compassionate, reliable, and very caring people. What sets us apart? There is no other team in Tijuana that provides 24/7 support and assistance during the hospital stay (in addition to the doctors and nurses), and 7 days a week full day assistance at the hotel during pre- and post-op stay, to ensure that our patients and their companions are never alone. What else? Our information packet provided to each patient before and after surgery is the most complete and detailed, aiming to set our patients for success at the very beginning of their journey.

Unlimited Free Pre- & Post-Op Consultations
Tele-consultations with our bariatric surgeons are required pre-op in order to be evaluated and approved. Post-op tele-consultations are available for as long as the patient has the need, are not limited in number, and can be arranged via phone or video calls.
Nutritionist
Experienced bariatric nutritionists are available before and after surgery to guide you through the pre-op and post-op diet, analyze your post-op lab work, check on your vitamin and mineral levels, and adjust your diet accordingly.
Therapist
A professional therapist is available upon request to provide emotional and psychological support. Surgical tool helps with the physical aspect of this journey, therapy helps to stay motivated and change our relationship with food forever.
