THE TIJUANA MARRIOTT HOTEL

Our all-inclusive weight loss surgery packages cover up to two hotel nights for a gastric sleeve surgery, or up to three hotel nights for a gastric bypass or SADI-S surgery. If you choose to arrive the day before surgery according to our recommendation, your stay will be arranged at the Quartz hotel as our primary choice. If the Quartz hotel is fully booked, you will be informed ahead of time, and your stay will be arranged at the Lucerna hotel as our second choice or at the Marriott hotel as our third choice. You may also spend one or two more nights (depending on your surgery option and prior arrangements with your patient coordinator) at the hotel after your hospital discharge, to ensure proper recovery before going home.

Hotel

Our recovery accommodations, The Tijuana Marriott, is an elegant hotel ideally located on the main city boulevard – Agua Caliente (see the address and contact information below). The hotel, with a modest traditional style, features Free Wi-Fi in all public areas and rooms, business center, gym, swimming pool (not heated during winter season), hot tubs, concierge, bar, a specialty restaurant and an Executive Lounge with private access.

At an additional reasonable cost you can upgrade your room to have access to the Executive lounge, that includes a Free American breakfast buffet from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and a light dinner buffet from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., or your family can enjoy a nice meal at the main hotel restaurant where the liquid diet mentioned above will be served for you free of charge as well.

Rooms

The hotel offers spacious and comfortable guest rooms with one king size or two full size beds, equipped with work area, air-conditioning, cordless telephone with voicemail and exclusive welcome amenities (hand soap, body wash, shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, hair dryer), to provide you an ideal place to rest and relax.

For each patient every day of your stay the hotel provides a free liquid diet that includes chicken broth (3 bowls per day), drinking water (2 bottles) and sugar free natural juice popsicles or Jell-O (2 servings, depending on availability, both options may be offered or only one). Protein shakes or electrolyte fluids (2 bottles) are provided by our on-site facilitating team.

Warmth and courtesy of the hotel staff are some of the main characteristics you will find in Marriott Tijuana.

Hotel Surroundings

Right next to the Marriott hotel you will find the Golf Course, the Casino Caliente, within a 10-minute walk – the Galerias Hipodromo shopping center with Walmart, GNC store, pharmacy, manicure salon, Starbucks, and many restaurants. You may wish to walk to the shopping center, or request a free Marriott shuttle (if available), or use Uber taxi service (very affordable in Mexico).

Your recovery at the Marriott Hotel will be tranquil and worry-free, as you will be visited by our on-site coordinators every day of your stay, that will be checking on your health status and ensure that all your needs are satisfied.
You may also request additional services with our hotel team, such as souvenir shopping or local beach tours, in-room massages, Botox or dermal fillers, etc.
