Go Light Bariatrics is a California, USA, based medical tourism company that facilitates bariatric weight loss surgery in Tijuana, Mexico since 2014. Most of our patients travel from USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand; however, we had a privilege of assisting clients from many other parts of the world. Our mission is to connect people who are looking for an affordable and safe weight loss surgery with the most experienced bariatric medical teams in Tijuana, Mexico. Our goal is to provide an all-inclusive experience that makes our process simple and worry-free, yet we do not wish anyone to feel like “another patient”. Everyone`s experience is unique, there are no two same weight loss journeys. This is why the doctors we refer our patients to, as well as our team of coordinators and on-site facilitators work closely with each patient to provide the most personalized service. You will not feel pressured and your decisions along with your preferences will be respected. You will have direct access to the bariatric surgeon of your choice as well as their nutritionist, any time you wish before and after surgery.

We understand that this journey can be very stressful, and we are determined to be by your side every step of the way. Our patients are never alone, as our on-site facilitators are always available to advocate on their behalf at the hospital and the hotel.
Unlimited Free Pre- & Post-Op Consultations
Tele-consultations with the bariatric surgeons are required pre-op in order to be evaluated and approved. Post-op tele-consultations are available for as long as the patient has the need, are not limited in number, and can be arranged via phone or video calls.
Nutritionist
Experienced bariatric nutritionists are available before and after surgery in order to guide you through the pre-op and post-op diet, analyze your post-op lab work, check on your vitamin and mineral levels, and adjust your diet accordingly.
Therapist
A professional therapist is available upon request to provide emotional and psychological support. Surgical tool helps with the physical aspect of this journey, therapy helps to stay motivated and change our relationship with food forever.
